It started on a rainy afternoon. Oliver was bored, flipping dials on his toy walkie talkie, pretending to be a spy. Suddenly, he heard a low, rumbling voice:
“Who dares to disturb the slumber of Drakar the Magnificent?”
Oliver froze. That was definitely not his sister.
The voice came from Channel 7X—a frequency he’d never noticed before. His free license kids walkie talkie glowed (or maybe he just imagined it). The dragon spoke again:
“I’m trapped in the Volcano Maze. Only a child with courage and a walkie talkie can help.”
“Challenge accepted,” Oliver whispered.
Drakar presented a riddle through the static:
“I am not alive, but I grow. I don’t have lungs, but I need air. I don’t have a mouth, but water kills me. What am I?”
Oliver shouted, “Fire!” The dragon roared with laughter.
“Correct! You’ve opened the first gate!”
With every puzzle solved through his toy walkie talkie, Oliver imagined himself moving deeper into a volcano, dodging lava beasts and answering ancient questions.
Oliver made a “Volcano Maze” out of couch cushions, lava made of red blankets, and a glowing flashlight for the dragon’s crystal. He crawled, climbed, and rolled—all while Drakar gave instructions through the free license kids walkie talkie.
And when Oliver was stuck, Drakar gave one final test:
“To find the exit, speak what burns brightest.”
Oliver thought hard, then said, “Imagination.”
The channel went silent… then, “You are wise. The gate is open.”
At dinner, Oliver told his parents. His dad smiled mysteriously and said,
“Did you know I used to talk to a dragon too... when I was your age?”
Maybe Channel 7X has always been there—waiting for the right kid with a free license kids walkie talkie to tune in.
Sometimes, the greatest adventures don’t need a screen—just a curious kid and a toy walkie talkie. Because on magical frequencies, dragons await, riddles unlock courage, and imagination becomes the ultimate flame.
